DFF & Aloha
The Dave Farbaky Foundation (DFF) was founded by Aloha Construction, Inc. President, Dave Farbaky, as a way to give back to the communities that have supported our company over the years. Through charitable initiatives, partnerships, and local outreach, the foundation is dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.
USA Reads & Willow House Partnership
Aloha Construction, Inc. is proud to support community-focused organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Through our donation to the USA Reads initiative in partnership with Willow House, we helped provide 15 Kindle e-readers to families in financial need and 50 therapeutic books for children beginning the Willow House program.
USA Reads, an initiative of the World Literacy Foundation, is dedicated to closing the literacy gap by providing books and educational resources to children in underserved communities across the United States. Access to reading materials plays a critical role in early brain development, learning outcomes, and long-term success.
Willow House is a Chicago-area nonprofit that supports children and families coping with grief after the loss of a loved one. Through peer support groups, counseling programs, and expressive arts activities, Willow House helps children process grief in a healthy, supportive environment. Since 1998, the organization has served families through free programs made possible by donations and community partnerships.
Camp One step
Aloha Construction, Inc. is proud to support Camp One Step by Children’s Oncology Services, an organization dedicated to creating empowering and joyful experiences for children and families affected by cancer. Through in-person camps and connected digital programs, Camp One Step provides opportunities for children to connect, grow, and simply be kids during incredibly challenging times.
As part of our commitment to this mission, Aloha Construction has helped raise over $4,400 to support children in need. These contributions help fund free camps and programs that offer emotional support, education, and moments of joy for pediatric cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
Fill A Heart 4 Kids
Aloha Construction, Inc. is proud to support Fill A Heart 4 Kids (FAH4K), a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the essential needs of at-risk and unhoused children. Through programs focused on food security, education, and personal development, FAH4K helps provide stability, dignity, and hope to children facing difficult circumstances.
The organization supports thousands of youth each year by providing meals during school breaks, school supplies, clothing, hygiene kits, tutoring, and life skills programs that promote confidence and long-term growth. Their work ensures that children not only have their basic needs met, but also have access to opportunities that help them thrive.
To date, Aloha Construction has helped raise over $18,300 in support of FAH4K’s mission to assist unhoused children and young victims of trafficking and abuse, helping provide critical resources and support where they are needed most.
OUR SHINING STARS
Aloha Construction, Inc., in partnership with the Dave Farbaky Foundation, is proud to support the Our Shining Stars Foundation (OSSF), an organization dedicated to empowering families in Illinois, particularly single-parent and low-income households. OSSF provides essential resources and community support that help bring stability, dignity, and moments of joy to families facing hardship.
Through their outreach efforts, OSSF hosts programs such as back-to-school drives, holiday assistance, and community events that provide school supplies, toys, and seasonal support to local families. Their mission is centered on strengthening community connections and creating meaningful moments of relief and celebration throughout the year.
As part of this partnership, Aloha Construction has donated over 200 professionally prepared Thanksgiving dinners, helping ensure families in need can gather and share a warm holiday meal together. This effort has directly touched more than 200 families, bringing comfort and connection during the holiday season.
